Lee learned firsthand about the world of the missing. At age three, her son wandered off to get a free cookie from the grocery store, part of a normal routine for him. This day he just didn’t want to wait for his mother to take him. Moments after he walked off, Lee frantically contacted Law Enforcement to report him missing. Two local electrical contractors spotted him talking to a suspected pedophile in the grocery store parking lot and took immediate action to secure him from danger. That experience drove her to volunteer in community services toward organizations that help families suffering similar or worse tragedies She remains eternally grateful to that pair of workers who intervened that day.
One of the most amazing organizations Lee was blessed to be apart of was 'Can You Identify Me' where she volunteered for years until the organization's doors were closed. Lee was the agency's Deputy Director (Volunteer) at the time of the organization's closing. Can You Identify Me's mission was to help bring greater awareness to the monumental number of cases of unidentified persons (women, men and children) who die across America without anyone knowing who they are. Some of these individuals sadly remain Unidentified for years or even decades.
This is a mission she has vowed to continue with until they all are home...
Keeping the candle of HOPE burning until they ALL come home.

"Declawing is a surgical procedure, also called onychectomy, in which the animal’s toes are amputated at the last joint. Most people do not realize that a portion of the bone—not only the nail—is removed." The Paw Project
Declawing is amputation.
Declawing is unnecessary and cruel.
Declawing MUST be Stopped!
Cats need their claws. I have never believed in declawing and, even as a child, felt it was a cruel thing to do to them.
As an adult I learned the the Truth and absolute horror of how the declaw surgery was done. It is not just removing or clipping the nails. It Is Amputation and I don't understand why Any Veterinarian would perform this procedure.
